Howdy!

We are having a Health Science Program in conjunction with the a short County Council Meeting on Thursday April 2nd @ 6:00pm @ the Community Exhibit Hall @ the Lamar County Fair Grounds.  If you haven't made plans to attend and you don't already have plans that night, please come on out and listen to some interesting information about Antibiotic Resistant Infections and then stick around for a quick(and i mean quick) County Council Meeting.  We will be covering officer elections which you will be conducting in your April Club Meetings.  The young lady who offered this to us is an ex-4H member of our program and I would really love to have lots of support for her since she was so thoughtful in offering us this opportunity.  I hope to see a lot of y'all out there Thursday night.  Have a great weekend!

Lamar County 4-H Members!  We are having a contest to see who can come up with the best name for the Blog.  I already have one from a club manager, and I know y'all don't want to let the parents name your Blog.  If your name is selected, you will receive a $20 gift certificate to Hastings. 

Have your entries into my e-mail inbox by 5:00pm next Monday March 16th.  If the e-mail has a time that you sent it of 5:01... NO GO!  Seriously though this could be really fun, and you get 20 bucks to go spend at Hastings for digging into those creative minds of yours.  Hope I get some good suggestions.
