I have issues. With Conference that is. In a recent event I took a number of calls from people trying to get into an event- they thought they had registered but they couldn't get in. There's no 'enrollment' per se, so nothing I could check to see if in fact they were enrolled, and enroll them if they weren't. I just said try again, and sent them the link to attend in case they were clicking the wrong one. And, in the same event, when I clicked to publish the recording it took a long time. Overnight in fact, centra was 'publishing recording'. But it never did so successfully. And Larry had the same recording failure with a later session. Not good. For now, I'm sticking with Symposium. And maybe I'll try eMtg :)
eMeetings are meant to be rather informal, so users don't really sign up (enroll)in one. Think of it this way.. you'd sign up for a face to face symposium or training event; you'd be invited to attend a face to face meeting.
It's a good idea to send invitations for Centra eMeetings. An invitation provides a link in recipients' email to click to attend. And, if the meeting's private (by invitation only), then the invitation is their key to the door.

If you want to use multimedia in a centra symposium session, your best bet is to insert the file into the session. I've successfully inserted a swf, wmv... but I believe they play with the participants' player, so ask them to have whatever they'll need installed beforehand if possible.
