As a leader or co-presenter, you already know the Ctrl Key turns your microphone on. Hold it down when you're speaking; release it when you're not. But if you're doing a lot of speaking (not too much please), use the lock to talk button instead.
Click the padlock to turn it on and click it again to turn it off. Just like holding down the ctrl key except you don't have to hold down the ctrl key :)

Lots of leaders use the audio in centra... some also use the green checks and red x's to get feedback from participants.
Few use text chat, a shame because it's a great tool. Ask a question of participants, and have them answer in text chat. You'll be surprised at how quickly the conversation takes off, with participants responding to your question, and responding to others' responses!
