Shotgun Team News

On the morning of August 18th, the Medina Clay
Target-Bandera county 4-H Shotgun Team had the first
Annual Sponsor Shoot. This was to thank all of our
supporters for the past year and treat them to a 100
bird shoot at the 5-Stand unit that they helped us to
attain. We shot two rounds of different presentation
5-Stand of 25 shots each and one round of 4-H
Whiz-Bang consisting of 50 shots and all true pairs,
that is shot by the 4-H shooters. After all the dust
had settled and the excuses were presented for
discussion, the winners were: 1st place went to Kenny
Foust, 2nd to Dave Thompson, and 3rd to Terry Neans.
The highly sought after trophies that were crafted by
an unknown anonymous artisan from Medina and donated
by same, became an effective tool to exceed on the
shooting fields and rightly so! Lunch was provided by
the team and Mrs. Clements topped everything off with
two large home-made cobblers that have become her
trademark desert and were consumed in record time.
All of our shooters, parents, and coaches again thank
each of the donor/sponsors for all of the help and
support in this past year, it has been very much
appreciated and the results are at the gun club as a
result!
