Dust off your boots, the 2008 Bandera Co. Jr. Livestock Show is January 10, 11, 12, 2008 at Mansfield Park Showbarn in Bandera, Texas. For a schedule of events, please download print off the enclosed schedule.

Livestock Show Dance is Saturday, Jan 12th from 9pm to 1am at Mansfield Park Showbarn. Come dance to the music of Chris Story and Southern Edge . Tickets are $10.00 and available at the Bandera Co. Jr. Livestock Show and Extension Office. Proceeds benefit the Bandera Co. 4-H Youth Scholarship Program. This is a great family fun event!
Attention Poultry Exhibitors!!, there will be a poultry meeting on Saturday, Dec. 29th from 9am to 11am at the Conference Room at the Mansfield Park Showbarn. Culling and selecting your market pen of broilers for show will be topics discussed. If you have any questions, please call or come by the Extension Office.
Everyone is invited out to attend the 15th Annual Hill Country Goat Classic at Mansfield Park Showbarn here in Bandera. Arrive and check-in starts at 9:00 a.m. Concession Stand will be available. If you have not already entered, you can enter the day of the show at $20.00/head, cash only!

CONGRATULATIONS! to our Horse Quiz Bowl Intermediate Team (Hunter and Mallory Marks, Hannah Buettner and Royce Barnes) for 3rd place at District Roundup and to our Horse Quiz Bowl Senior Team (Morgan Fulenwider, Ashley Townley, Nikki Luft and Kelsey Striegl) for 2nd place at District Roundup. The Senior Team has qualified and will compete this June at State 4-H Roundup in College Station.
A big congratulations goes out to our Horse Quiz Bowl and Judging Coaches, Ginna Marks, Kim Fulenwider, Dina Buettner, Tim Luft and Conrad Striegl!
Attention Swine exhibitors!, the last swine project meeting before the county show will be held, Sat, Dec. 15th at 10am at the Mansfield Park Shed, across from the showbarn. "Getting your hog ready for the show" will be the topic that will be discussed. If you have have any questions, please call or come by the Extension Office.
