Bandera Co. Jr. Livestock Show Rule Books for the 2009 county show are now available on-line at our website: http://bandera-tx.tamu.edu, select the Publications link; at the Extension Office, and will be available at the 4-H Bash Night, September 9th. Rule books will be given 1 per family. Be sure to get a copy and become familiar with the stock show rules.
ATTENTION SWINE EXHIBITORS! The deadline to order swine validation tags is September 22nd here at the Extension Office.
Cost is:
$10.00 for state (includes Bandera, Kerrville, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Ft. Worth and San Angelo)
$5.00 for county only.
ATTENTION STEER EXHIBITORS!!!!! A steer clinic and hoof trimming will be held Saturday, September 6th at 9:00 a.m. at the Mansfield Park Showbarn. Hoof trimming is $30/steer. Please bring your show sticks.

Come by the Extension Office, drop in on a club meeting, download the enclosed enrollment form or come out to the 4-H Enrollment night on Tuesday, September 9th to become a 4-H member.
4-H age requirement is 8 years old and third grade or nine years old thru 18 years of age by August 31st, 2008. Current and new members must enroll each year. Please contact the Extension Office at 830-796-7755 for more information.
Attention Lamb & Goat Exhibitors!!!!!!
The deadline for State lamb & goat validation tags is August 29th. Cost is $10/each and tags are good for all major shows and county show.
If you are showing at the county only, cost is $5/each. Please come by the Extension Office to order your tags.
