The San Antonio Livestock Show Youth Day will be held February 7, 2009. This is a great fun filled family event. There is a photography contest, fashion show, and wheelbarrow parade that 4-H'ers can participate in.

If you have not already gotten your project record form, attached is one for you to print off. This form will be required when picking up either your livestock show check and/or bake show check. If you have any questions, please contact the Extension Office.
Enclosed is a Bandera Co. Jr. Livestock Show Schedule. Please be sure to print one off, if you are planning to attend the Livestock Show.
Attention Goat & Lamb 4-H exhibitors!!!!. Here is a great opportunity to practice showing your goat before the county and major stock shows.
The 16th Annual Hill Country Goat & Lamb Classic will be held Saturday, Dec. 13th at the Mansfield Park Showbarn. Barn opens at 6:30 a.m.

We have clippers and trim stand available for rent to help with your livestock show projects. Cost is $5.00 per day for rental. Please call or come by the Extension Office.
ATTENTION 4-H Horse Project Members!!!! The Cindy Kline Memorial Horse Award is for any age individual who participates in the horse project or horse show at the Bandera County Junior Livestock Show.
Attached is an application and information to download. Application must be filled out and turned into the Livestock Show Office of Horse Division Superintendent at the Horse Show.
ATTENTION!!! Junior and Senior high school 4-H members! The Larry Baush Award Application is now available! 4-H'ers must be enrolled in Bandera or Medina High school and must be actively participating in the exhibition of livestock during the 2009 County stock show. This award can only be won one time by an individual.
Enclosed is the application and information. Please bring your application to be signed by Mr. Thigpen or Mrs. Osbourn on or before Dec. 15th.
If you have not entered the Bandera County Jr. Livestock Show, you can still enter. There is a $25.00 late fee plus the entry fee due until December 15th. Entry cards are available at our office. Please call or come by.
