Attention Lamb & Goat Exhibitors - the 17th Annual Hill Country Goat Classic and Cowboy Capital Lamb Classic is Saturday, December 12th. For more information and entry forms for both events, please download the attached flyers.
ATTENTION BROILER EXHIBITORS!!! Nov. 2nd at 6pm at the Mansfield Park Showbarn, Mrs. Julie Saathoff, poultry project leader will have a project meeting to discuss housing, feed, showing tips, etc. This is a great meeting for both the experienced and novice exhibitors.
ATTENTION LAMB & GOAT EXHIBITORS!!!! Saturday, Oct. 31st is Lamb & Goat Validation starting at 8am until 11am. This is the only day you can validation your lamb or goat. Parents and exhibitors must attend to sign paperwork. There will be breakfast tacos and drinks available for sale.
If you cannot attend, please contact Mr. Thigpen, at the Extension Office ASAP!!!
The Bandera 4-H Clover Booster club is taking order for 4-H Green Shopping bags. Cost is $5.00. These bags are very durable, roomy and great for use when grocery shopping or just shopping! All proceeds benefit the Bandera 4-H Scholarship Program.
Call or come by the Extension Office to place your order.!
Attention High School 4-H members. There will be a scholarship training event on November 12th from 7pm - 9pm. This is a great opportunity to learn about the 4-H Scholarship and great tips and information on completing scholarship applications.
RSVP deadline to Extension Office is Nov. 9th.

Horse Judging -meets every Wednesday at 6pm at the Mansfield Park Showbarn Conference Room
ATV Safety Course - Sunday, Oct. 18th at 1pm at the Mansfield Park Showbarn. Call Billie Reeves at 796-7755 to register.
Medina Clay Target Shotgun Team - Safety and Gun Handling Course, Oct. 18th at 1:30 p.m. at the Bandera Gun Club.
Hunters Safety Course - Oct. 10 & 11 at Bass Pro Shops in San Antonio, Tx. Cost is $15/person. Kids 13 yrs and younger must be accompanied by a guardian. Social Security cards are needed to take course.
Food Workshop - Oct. 26th at Mansfield Park Showbarn Kitchen. Cost is $2.00.
Lamb & Goat Validation - Oct. 31st at Mansfield Park Showbarn, 8am - 11am.

Attention Goat and Lamb Exhibitors!!!!!! Goat and Lamb Validation will be held on Oct. 31st from 8am - 11am. This is the only day you can validate your goat. Parent and exhibitor must be in attendance.
