Water down...

Several days ago, we had a little boo-boo. Water had to be shut down because of a disjointed elbow in the main manifold that directs water to the garden. Thankfully, it has been fixed (Thanks to Andrew and Scherle).

Some of the project done at the ECG is through collaborative efforts with the Collin County Master Gardeners (CCMG). In their enthusiastic efforts, they are partnering with Thrivent Finacial for Lutherans to install a demonstration garden at the ECG on the JOIN HANDS DAY (June 2). Demonstration plots are use to show the general public what are some things that can be grown. These demonstration plots are also meant for us to identify problematic issues with the plants to help us develop a better understanding of what plants work well in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. For more information on the event, see click here for the mini poster.
