Mark you calendars now. The 2008 Denton County 4-H Gold Star Reception will take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Fremaux's Metropolitan Catering. Invitations and RSVP cards will be sent in July.
In selecting a date the 4-H Office has considered several factors:
- The banquet must take place after the final District IV 4-H contest.
- The banquet must be late enough in the month to allow time for all vendors to complete our orders.
- Erlene and I have checked all of the 2008-2009 ISD calendars, as well as universities, for school start dates. The universal start date is August 25 or 26th.
