Year End Club Recognitions

Ponder 4-H Club
    Ponder 4-H held it's first Awards Banquet May 21, 2008. Awards were given to the following:  Officer Awards were given to Travis W for President, Trevor W for Vice President, Chelsea R for Treasurer and Micah M for Reporter.
    Clover Bud awards were presented to  Taylor R, Mary H, Megan G, Casey T and Cody T.     Specialty Plaques were presented to Clint R for Spirit of 4-H Award, Cole S for Integrity Award, Chelsea R for Perfect Attendance Award, Shelby G for New Comer and Perfect Attendance Award, Ashley L for Top Chef Award.
    The following were given project medals; Jack M, and Marshal M for sheep, Jocelyn C and Elizabeth C for Nutrition, Kelsy U and Charlotte G for Nutrition.
    Ponder's First 4-H Scholarship Award of $100 went to Micah M. Micah is a graduating senior from Ponder High School and held an officer position in the club. He also obtained the certification of Eagle Scout and has shown his leadership abilities throughout the year to his peers.  Micah plans to attend UNT and focus on a career in forensic science.
