Christmas Stocking Community Service Event

We have had our fabric for Christmas stockings donated for at least the last four years.  This year that stash is empty for the most part.  I have approximately 15 yards which will make close to 90 stockings if we don't have a lot of mistakes.  So if we could have about 10 yards more donated, we can reach the 150 goal.  If only 10 families can pick up one yard of fabric, we'll have it made.  I'll take care of the cuffs.

We'll begin at 3:00 on Monday. This is come and go so we'd love to have everyone stop by for a little bit.  Don't forget to bring your $1/slice for pizza.

We'll need irons, an ironing board or two, general sewing supplies like scissors, seam rippers (sorry, that's kinda pessimistic), thread (red, green, black or white) and of course sewing machines.  We'll have patterns there ready to go.  If I have forgotten anything, please let us know.

Thank you all for your help with this great project that has been in the county for 11+ years.

Blessings,
diane
