Horse Achievement Program

Whether you are an accomplished rider or just horse crazy. Own a horse or never been near one. HAP is for you! If you are an accomplished horse person member or adult then use this opportunity for leadership and help present. Contact Sharon Bonner.

8 meetings are planned for the second Tuesday of the month starting in October and running through May. Clinics will be determined at monthly meetings.
Tuesday, November 11 Meeting
  • We will start learning about the different colors and markings of horses. We will be cutting out pictures and putting them in our notebooks. Please bring any magazines that can be cut and shared, blunt scissors and glue.
  • Caitlin Roche will give a presentation on the Appaloosa Horse.
  • Horse Management: Homework assignment due. (Horses Name, Horse have shoes or not, When was last time feet were done?, When were vaccinations given?, When was the last worming and what type of wormer was used).
  • If you do not have a horse contact me and we will set you up. If you need to purchase a notebook--let me know in advance.
Cost: $5.00 for notebook - One notebook per level.

Place: Fair Hall at the North Texas Fair Grounds

Time: 6:30 PM-- 8:30 PM
