COUNTY 4-H RECOGNITION AWARDS

• 4-Hers who win first place in a District IV 4-H contest are eligible to purchase a District Winner Jacket or District Winner Patch. 
• 4-Hers who win first place at State 4-H Roundup may opt to have "State" embroidered on their jacket.  If the team earns the right to represent Texas 4-H at a National 4-H competition and place first they may have "National" embroidered on their jacket.
• Only one jacket per age level may be earned (Junior, Intermediate or Senior).  Winning in a consecutive year in the same age bracket, members may purchase a District Winner Patch.
• Jackets and Patches can only be ordered for the current 4-H year and will not be ordered without parental authorization, proper paperwork and deposit. 
• Only official Jackets and Patches may be ordered and no changes are allowed.

Recordbook Awards

4-Hers who enter a recordbook in the Denton County 4-H Recordbook competition shall receive a    4-H Project Pin and free admission to the Denton County 4-H Gold Star Banquet.  From county judging the following awards will be selected and will receive a plaque at the Gold Star Banquet: Best 1^st Year Recordbook, Best Memory Book, Best Junior Recordbook, Best Intermediate Recordbook, Best Senior Recordbook.
