Pesticides: March 2009 Archives

The Texas Trappers and Fur Hunters Association is hosting a rendezvous in Jacksonville, Texas, April 17 & 18, 2009.  The Friday program has been approved by the Texas Department of Agriculture for 3 hours of CEU credit (1 IPM, 1 Laws & Regs, & 1 General).  Saturday's program has been approved for 3 hours of CEU credit as well (2 IPM and 1 General).

The location is the Cherokee County Expo Center on the south side of Jacksonville, approx. 3/4 mile off US 69 on Loop (Spur) 456 west.

Update on Prowl H20 Herbicide

This is an update on Prowl H20 herbicide, which is a BASF product.

Prowl H2O herbicide has received a Section 18 label for use in Texas Bermudagrass pastures and hay meadows, effective March 12, 2009. This label is good until June 30, 2009. The attached label requires applications on dormant bermudagrass, and activation by rainfall or irrigation PRIOR to sandbur (grassbur) germination. 

The attached label must be in the hands of the user at the time of the application. As per the label, do not apply this product with any application equipment other than a multi-nozzle broadcast boom sprayer.
