STATE 4-H PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST - Open to 4-H'ers ages 14-19

Attached are 2009-2010 Texas 4-H Photography Rules.  These rules are also posted on the Texas 4-H and Youth Development website under the Photography contest in the events section.  These are due to the County Extension office by April 12, 2010.

Please note a couple of changes for the 2010 contest:
  •  The 2009-2010 theme will be "The Four Season's of Texas." 4-H members are allowed to submit photograph's focusing on the four (fall, winter, spring, and summer) seasons of the year in Texas. Photographs can include shots of the landscape, people, flowers, etc depicting one of the four seasons. Photographs cannot be dually entered into another as well as this one (i.e. landscape photo cannot be entered into theme as well as landscape).
  • Starting in 2010 each 'Best of Show' winner will receive a $200.00 cash prize in addition to having their photography framed with a name plate and displayed in the Texas 4-H Office for a year.
Attached also is the photo release that must be attached to the back of each photograph before sending to competition.  This will also be available for download at the Texas 4-H Website.
