Our eight participants to Texas 4-H Roundup have returned home in high spirits! It was a fun time, and all did well in their respective contests.
We had two Consumer Decision Making teams competing among
40 teams:

Nikki Brousseau, Samantha Richardson, Katie Williams and Emily Svoboda placed 5th, with
*
Samantha Richardson placing 5th Individual.
*
Apryl Hansen, Joanna Leath and Mary Shogry placed 11th among the 40 teams.

In presentations,

Garrett Williams placed 3rd in the Open Category,
*
Apryl Hansen placed 16th in the Health Category, and
*
Joanna Leath did a presentation in Public Speaking.
In Fashion Show Apparel Design,
* Samantha Richardson placed 16th.

Garrett Williams who was presented with a Houston Livestock Show Scholarship in the amount of $15,000. (We heard from a little birdie that your application was awesome!) Yahoo!

Samantha Richardson who received a $10,000 scholarship from the Richard Wallrath Endowment Fund.
