The latest on-line pop-up ads are using flash media to get around traditional ad blockers and they are good at it. This was marginally tolerable so long as they stayed off to the side and danced in the moonlight but now some of these ads are covering the information until we click "close" enough times and they finally go away.
Here's "NoFlash", a freeware that allows you to turn flash on (there are times when we need it) and turn flash off. It's a small program that creates a tray icon which you right click to bring up a toggle menu. It shows a little red cross bar when flash is off.
Until Mozilla et al come up with a built in blocker, this will do the job. You can find more info about NoFlash here:

Like most users, I pretty much use GroupWise 7.x in default mode. Meaning, I don't normally customize the look and feel very much. However, I was looking at Dr. Lippke's mailbox on Wednesday, and he had these cool Group Labels separating his email out by day. I thought to myself, now that is cool.

So, this Tech OPS entry will show you how to transform your email from a plain old list of email sorted by date, from, or subject to a list that is broken up by days of the week using Group Labels.
