Become Offical, Adding a Agency Logo to your email Signature.

| | Comments (1)

I received a couple of emails this week, and I noticed each had this cool little Extension Logo down in the signature area. I have the normal email signature like most folks. You know, name, phone number, address, etc. But, I was unware that you could add a graphic image to your email signature, plus this little logo really seem to add a lot. Now, I must warn you that this signature graphic will only be displayed in GroupWise if you are running GroupWise in html mode. For info about GroupWise html mode, please click here for more info. (Note - this TnT tip was for GroupWise 6.5, but it still works for GroupWise 7.x)

So the question is, "how do I add the Extension or Texas Agricultural Experiment Station Logo to my email signature?" This OPS entry will walk you through the steps to add the official Extension or TAES logo to your GroupWise email signature. (Note - You must be using GroupWise 7.x to add a graphic image to your email signature.)

  1. Please download a logo and save it to Windows Desktop. (Note - each of these has already been resized, so to download, Right-Click on the link and select Save Target As.)

  2. Start GroupWise

  3. Select Tools from the Menu Bar and select Options

  4. Double click Environment

  5. Select the Signature tab

  6. From the Signature tool bar, click on the >>

  7. Select Insert Picture

  8. Browse for the logo graphic located on your Windows Desktop

  10. Click Ok

  11. Click the "Prompt before adding" button

  12. Click Ok to shut the Environment dialog box

  13. Click Close

  14. Congrats, you have now added a cool official logo to your GroupWise email signature.

Jeffrey,
I had a question from our HUB Associate, Lynda Ables, about how to get the Agency logo on her signature block. I told her to check out this site of yours. She did, and now has her agency logo and is a happy camper! Great work! Thanks!
