Save some time, organize your GW messages by day
Like most users, I pretty much use GroupWise 7.x in default mode. Meaning, I don't normally customize the look and feel very much. However, I was looking at Dr. Lippke's mailbox on Wednesday, and he had these cool Group Labels separating his email out by day. I thought to myself, now that is cool.
So, this Tech OPS entry will show you how to transform your email from a plain old list of email sorted by date, from, or subject to a list that is broken up by days of the week using Group Labels.
To turn on Group Labels:
- Start GroupWise
- Right-click on the Date column header
- Select, Sort Descending
- From the toolbar, Select View
- Select Display Settings > Edit/Create
- From the Mailbox Properties dialog box on the Display tab, check Show Group Labels
- Click OK
- The Display Settings Save As dialog box will popup, click OK
Note - This tip was written to be used with GroupWise 7.x. Also, you can sort different columns and either ascending or descending order.
